Transportation of Dangerous Goods - TDG
Program Description
This TDG course is designed to ensure that the participant becomes familiar with the necessary aspects of the dangerous goods regulations. Emphasis is placed on dangerous goods identification and classification. Upon completion of this course, your personnel is expected to be able to recognize the dangers associated with all TDG classes and complete a dangerous goods bill of lading.
Who Should Attend
This training course is required if the types of products that you intend to handle (ship, transport, and receive) meets the definition for a dangerous good as defined in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act and Regulations. TDG training must be provided before the employees handle the dangerous goods.
This Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training course is for initial or re-certification training.
Program Overview
Our TDG course meets all of Transport Canada’s training requirements under the TDG Regulations, for all persons involved in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods by ground.
Our course is ideal for shippers, receivers and drivers. It contains interactive elements such as video, and skill building exercises which will engage the adult learner and make for an interesting and educational learning experience.
Our courses focus on elements that ensure the information is understood, retained and easily resourced.
TDG certification is valid for 3 years upon completion and is non-transferable.
